LEGEND TRAIL HOMES
Legend Trail is named for the historic Indian trail commonly known as the Whiskey Bottle Trail, once used as a shortcut taking military personnel of the old West to the cool, clear waters of Cave Creek. Today, the Western heritage of the area is preserved in this relaxed residential community with wide open spaces and territorial architecture that harmonizes with the natural habitat. Removed from the congestion of the metropolitan Valley to the south, Legend Trail residents find tranquility in the high Sonoran desert with its towering saguaros, ancient boulders, indigo blue skies, and spectacular sunsets.
But don't think that tranquility means nothing to do. Legend Trail boasts an abundance of recreational opportunities, from championship golf to southwestern dining to shopping in nearby north Scottsdale, Carefree and Cave Creek. The luxurious Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa is just a stone's throw away. And if you get the hankering for the pleasures of the big city, it's only a short drive there - and a short drive back.
Quiet Location
Legend Trail is quietly located in north Scottsdale, just outside of Carefree and Cave Creek, removed from the busy metropolitan city to the south. To get there from Scottsdale and Phoenix, take Loop 101 to Pima Road, then travel north to Legend Trail Parkway.
Inspiring Landscape
Wide open spaces and panoramic vistas. Dark boulders and majestic mountains contrasted with a bright blue sky. Statuesque saguaro cacti silhouetted against a vivid Arizona sunset. This is the rugged beauty of the Sonoran desert, and the scenic setting for Legend Trail. Surrounded by state owned land, the peaceful community is set amidst abundant desert vegetation and wildlife. The developers are committed to preserving the area's natural habitat, and have designated half of the 640 acres to natural open space.
Legend Trail Golf Club
Golfers of all skill levels will appreciate the picturesque setting and diverse play offered by the 18-hole championship course at Legend Trail Golf Club. The immaculate Rees Jones designed course winds through the natural desert landscape and offers spectacular views of some of the area's well known landmarks, such as Pinnacle Peak. With expansive fairways, bent grass greens, small bunkering, and island tees, the course is challenging but fair. Four sets of tees provide an invigorating round of golf for the novice as well as the expert. In addition, a state-of-the-art Golf Digest Learning Center is on site with two indoor air-conditioned hitting bays and V1 Swing Analysis Video Technology. A complete pro shop makes available everything the golfer may need.
The Trail's End Grille
Come for respite after a stimulating round of golf, or just as a friendly place to meet for a bite - the menu at The Trail's End Grille offers a variety of mouth-watering southwestern dishes. Open for breakfast and lunch, dine inside in rustic elegance or relax outside by the fireplace.
Recreation Center
In the heart of the community is a 10,000-square-foot Recreation Center where residents can enjoy an energetic game of tennis on two lighted tennis courts, a vigorous workout in the state-of the art fitness facility, a refreshing swim in the 80-foot heated lap pool, or a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi. Facilities are available for intimate gatherings, social occasions and business events. Members of the community meet regularly for a number of scheduled events from hosted happy hours and card games to sporting events and fund raisers.
Resort-Style Living
When completed, Legend Trail will include 824 custom and resort-style home sites, including a 36-unit condominium complex. Separate communities are distinguished by the natural topography of the greens and fairways. Homes of the highest quality and with luxurious amenities border state land, most with scenic golf course views. Expertly designed in form and function, floor plans in range from 1500 to 5500 square feet.
