MCCORMICK RANCH HOMES

McCormick Ranch is one of the largest planned community developments in the country with an estimated population of 23,000 people. McCormick Ranch was actually started in 1942 by Merle Chaney and sold to the McCormick's in the mid-40's as a working ranch. It was the last large ranch located in the City of Scottsdale. In 1969, developer Kaiser-Aetna purchased the McCormick's ranch and the rest is history.

The transformation of the McCormick's Ranch was based on a master plan developed by Gruen Associates of Los Angeles and Scottsdale Environmental Planners and Consultants. The amenities for the community included two championship 18-hole golf courses, more than 25 miles of bicycle paths, public tennis courts, 130 acres of man-made lakes, two of which can be used for sailing and several that are stocked with fish. Lush green lawns, trees, and tropical landscaping round out the package.

McCormick Ranch is close to a multitude of Scottsdale resorts and hotels, restaurants and world-class shopping.

The McCormick Ranch Golf Club offers any caliber of player two spectacular resort golf courses, which are open to the public 365 days a year. The Palm and Pine championship tees are each over 7,000 yards long, in addition to enjoyable, yet challenging men's, seniors', and ladies' tees.

McCormick Ranch offers a variety of homes for sale ranging from apartment style and low maintenance patio homes to large lakeside estates. Prices range from low $300,000 to over $1,000,000.
